Blog-blog besar di Amerika yang memiliki traffic ratusan ribu-pun masih melakukan blogroll. Lihat contohnya seperti huffingtonpost.com, dailykos.com, juancole.com, untuk menyebut sebagian kecil. Setidaknya ada dua metode untuk melakukan tukar link, di samping sejumlah cara lain. Kedua metode ini dapat dipakai baik di wordpress.com maupun di blogspot / blogger.com. CARA PERTAMA: Menggunakan Link Widget.
Caranya sbb:
1. Klik “Kelola” atau “Manage”
2. Klik “Taut” atau “Links”
3. Kelola Taut -> klik “tambahkan baru” atau “Add New” (Gambar 1)
4. Isi kotak yang tersedia dengan nama, alamat url dan deskripsi situs yang akan ditambah.
Contoh: Nama: Blogger Indonesia
URL: http://fatihsyuhud.com (lihat gambar 3)
5. Klik “Simpan” atau “Save”. Selesai.
Cara meng-Edit Taut / Link Blogroll:
Seandainya Anda ingin merubah nama atau alamat URL daftar blogroll yang sudah Anda add, maka caranya sbb:
1. Kelola / Manage -> klik
2. Klik “Sunting” atau “Edit” pada Nama yang akan di-edit.
- Untuk menghapus, Anda tinggal klik “Hapus” atau “Delete” letaknya berdampingan dengan menu “Sunting” atau “Edit” (lihat gambar 4)
3. Klik “Simpan” setelah diedit. (Gambar 5)
4. Selesai.
Aktifkan Widget Blogroll:
Blogroll tipe ini tidak akan nongol di sidebar/kolomsisi blog Anda kalau Widget Blogroll-nya belum diaktifkan atau di-add. Cara mengaktifkan widget Taut sbb:
1. Klik “Desain” atau “Design”
2. Klik “Widgets”

4. Klik “Simpan Perubahan” atau “Update Change”
5. Selesai.
CARA KEDUA: DROPDOWN BLOGROLL
Caranya sbb:
1. Klik Desain -> Widgets -> Teks -> Tambah -> Simpan / Save.
2. Klik “Sunting” atau “Edit” pada Teks Widget tadi dan Copy/paste seluruh kode yang ada di bawah ini
